CONTRACTUAL RECRUITMENT Applications is invited as scheduled below for filling up of the following posts under National Health Mission, Dhenkanal on contractual basis for a term of 11 months with monthly remuneration as noted against each as per approval under PIP and subject to renewal as per OSH&FW Society norms basing on the-performance and subsistence of the programme. The Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Bhubaneswar is a permanent research centre of Indian Council of Medical Research. The foundation stone of the centre was laid by the then prime minister of India Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi on 29th March 1981.Initially the Center started in a small rental accommodation in 1982 and shifted to the Centre’s own building in year 1990 after completion.

The function of Odisha staff selection commission has been extended from time to time and now it has been vested with authority to conduct recruitment examinations & recommend selected candidates for General/Technical/Non-Technical post of group-B & C (Non Gazetted) service for Departments of Government of Odisha & Heads of Departments under the state government for appointment.

The ECHS Central Organisation is located at Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Bokaro Steel Plant, one of the modernised integrated steel plants of SAIL employing a motivated workforce of around 18000 employees is producer of HR Coils/Sheets/Plates, CR Coils/ Sheets, GP Sheets/Coils.

The Institute recently has been converted from State Engineering College to National Institute of Technology. The total seats have been increased from 250 to 420 for the academic session 2007-2008. Recently three Under Graduate courses has been introduced in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Production Engineering.
