Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the appointment of the following position.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (01 position)
Project : Wellcome Trust / DBT India Alliance Funded project “Analysis of the impact of mRNA- mRNA/circRNA interactions in pancreatic ß-cell physiology”
PI : Dr. Amaresh Panda
Fellowship : Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
Eligibility & Selection : Candidates having M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics or allied Life Science subjects with minimum 55% aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per Govt. guideline) from a recognized university and having two years of molecular biology research experience are eligible to appear the interview. Candidates should have also qualified National level examinations such as NET / GATE/ GPAT/ BET. Preference will be given to the candidates with extensive knowledge and experience in animal cell culture & molecular biology techniques.
Age Limit : The candidate should be below 32 years in age, as on 12.02.2024. An age relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST/women/PH candidates and three years in the case of OBC candidates will be given (as per Govt. of India rules).
The interested/eligible candidates may download application form and attend the interview with the complete application form along with attested copies of mark sheets and certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if any), along with the experience certificate. Incomplete applications and applications without the above-mentioned documents will be rejected. The appointment will be for one year or until the end of the project.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
