Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) is an institution of higher education established by an Act of Parliament in 2009. The University aims at the fashioning of an enlightened society founded on a relentless pursuit of excellence through innovation in teaching-learning process, interdisciplinary studies and research. Tucked away 8 kms. off the headquarters of Thiruvarur District, which is both in the heart of the Cauvery Delta and in the centre of the Great Chola Empire, CUTN has, thanks to the generosity of the state government, a sprawling 520 acre campus, divided by a tributary of the Cauvery, spanning across two revenue villages.

Alagappa University was established in the year 1985 by the Government of Tamilnadu, as envisioned by the great Philanthropist Padma Bhushan (Late) Dr.RM. Alagappa Chettiar is achieving Excellence in all spheres of Education, with particular emphasis on Pedagogy, Extension, Administration, Research and Learning (PEARL) by affording a Quality oriented Higher Education to the learners so that they are transformed into intellectually competent human resources that will help in the up-liftment of the nation to Educational, Social, Technological, Environmental and Economic Magnificence (ESTEEM). Our motto is “Excellence in Action”. The 440 acre green and lush campus houses Science, Arts, Management, and Education faculties with 39 Departments, 9 Centres and 2 Constituent Colleges on its campus. Besides, 40 Affiliated Colleges are located in the districts of Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram. The institution offers 158 programmes in the University Department catering to the educational needs of rural students. All programs in the University follow a Semester Pattern under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) to ensure quality education.

CDRI is considered to be a pioneer research organization in the field of biomedical research where all the infrastructure and expertise are available to develop a drug right from its concept to market. The very latest techniques and methodologies are employed for developing drugs, diagnostics and vaccines to combat diseases prevalent among mankind in general and Indian population in particular. CDRI is a multidisciplinary research laboratory consisting of scientific personnel of various areas of biomedical sciences. For administrative and scientific purposes the Institute's manpower has been grouped into 17 R&D divisions and few divisions providing technical and scientific support.

Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989. It was established in 1994, since then  the University is steadily becoming  an excellent centre of learning. The campus, situated in Dargakona, about 20 kms from  Silchar, is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the North East. The campus  in an area of  600 acres surrounded by lakes and mountains provides  an ideal environment for academic pursuit.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research (ACBR) is a unique center under the University of Delhi where a multispeciality group of scientists work as a cohesive team and participate in active teaching and research. The absence of formal departmental setup provides an excellent environment where each faculty is free to interact with each other and contribute to better teaching and research in the complementary areas.The emphasis of research investigations has been mainly on chemistry and biology and is being carried out in some of the frontline areas of basic and applied biomedical sciences such as Drug Discovery and Drug Development, Medical Biotechnology, Molecular Modeling and DNA Diagnostics, Molecular Oncology, Immunology, Genomics & Proteomics, Medicinal Chemistry, Cancer Genetics, Human Genetics and Neuropharmacology.Within a small span of time, ACBR has earned its name and fame both at National and International level.

Established in 1984, the Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTech) is one among the chain of 37 national laboratories, 6 units and 39 outreach centres of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research. Set-up to be a fore-runner in the niche domain of microbial biotechnology, the Institute in its initial years functioned from a start-up laboratory that provided a truly world-class R&D ambience in an area of over 10,000 sq. ft. to its researchers.

National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune, established in 1950, is a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). CSIR-NCL is a science and knowledge based research, development and consulting organization. It is internationally known for its excellence in scientific research in chemistry and chemical engineering as well as for its outstanding track record of industrial research involving partnerships with industry from concept to commercialization.

Pilani Campus is located in the VIdya Vihar cmapus adjacent to Pilani town in Jhunjhunu District, Rajasthan. Pilani is the home town of the Birla family and has a population of about 50,000. It is about 200 km west of Delhi and about 220 km north of Jaipur. The Institute buildings, hostels and residentail quarters for staff with neatly laid out roads, lawns and gardens constiture the BITS Campus of about 328 acres.

Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali (Punjab), an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013, the date on which its first Director was appointed.
