Post: Strategic Proposals Development Manager
Job Description
Works across all functional areas to facilitate the delivery of multiple proposals and related client deliverables within time and quality requirements for single-region or for small multi-region clinical development projects. Ensures the most comprehensive and appropriate strategy is represented in the proposal and budget.
Facilitates the development of multi-service clinical development proposals ensuring appropriate planning, timelines and expectations are set for the bidding teams and that these timelines and expectations are met to produce appropriately customized, high quality client deliverables. Works with team members across all functional areas as well as business development and C&PD to ensure the most comprehensive and appropriate strategy is represented in the proposal and budget. Develops and provides appropriate hand-off of strategy to the proposed project team prior to bid defense.
Provides super-user level support to bidding teams for proposal and budget development software.
Identifies need for change in process or procedure within department and works with manager and team to develop and implement appropriate changes. Escalates issues as appropriate. Participates in departmental or cross-functional process improvement or corporate initiatives.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in health/life science, finance, business, or related area; or licensed certified health care; or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- A demonstrated track record of success in clinical development (equivalent to 3 years), including clinical project management experience (equivalent to 1 year)
- Proven experience managing the budgets and resources for client-driven projects
- Experience in managing project budgets in a CRO environment

Experience using industry-related software
