National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. General Eligibility for NIPER JEE 2024
The candidate should have qualified GPAT/GATE/NET/ any other National Fellowship (valid score card). In addition to the above-mentioned, subject-wise qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.75 on a 10-point scale wherever grades are awarded or equivalent. Percentage of marks or CGPA so calculated will be based on the norms fixed by the concerned University/ Institution or aggregate marks or CGPA scored by the candidate for all years of the qualifying degree, in case the University/ Institution has not prescribed any norm for calculating such percentage or CGPA.
For students ‘awaiting’ final year results
1. The JCC (Joint Counselling Committee) of JEE 2024 recommended giving provisional admission to candidates appearing for the final year exam. Such candidates are supposed to submit the required documents as specified above within the stipulated time provided by the respective NIPERs after the provisional admission. In case of failure to submit the final degree certificates with specified percentages/credits as mentioned above within the stipulated period, the institute reserves the right to cancel his/her provisional admission.
2. Students must upload semester-wise mark sheets in a single PDF file until the last semester/ session of the qualifying exam.
3. An undertaking on Rs. 100/- stamp paper (Annexure 6) needs to be uploaded along with the marks sheets.
Relaxation in Eligibility Criteria
a) Relaxation in CGPA to 6.25 (on a 10-point scale) or in marks to 55% or equivalent in the eligibility criteria is allowed for SC and ST candidates.
b) Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PH/PwBD) candidates are permitted relaxation in the eligibility requirement of CGPA to 5.75 (on a 10-point scale) or to 50% marks or equivalent. No other relaxation beyond this will be allowed, even if they belong to the SC/ST category.
c) GPAT/GATE/NET/ any other National Fellowship is relaxed for the following categories of candidates: Candidates holding B.V.Sc./M.B.B.S./B.A.M.S./ B.D.S. degree/ Foreign Nationals.
Note : Due to a delay in the GPAT examination result, all candidates will be provisionally permitted to apply for the JEE 2024. However, candidates must submit a valid qualified scorecard for GPAT/GATE/NET/any other National Fellowship at the time of counselling, failing which, their candidacy will be cancelled. The application fees will NOT be refunded to such candidates.
Application Procedure
Applicants shall apply online on niperguwahati.ac.in as per instructions given on the website. The process of online application shall commence from 25th April 2024 onwards and will continue till 24th May 2024 (The proposed dates are tentative, and any changes will be updated on the NIPER Guwahati / NIPER JEE website). The webpage for the online application form could be accessed through the link provided on the official website of NIPER Guwahati / NIPER JEE 2024 (https://niperguwahati.ac.in/niperjee/). The online application process comprises of following steps :

Step 3: Fill in all the details in your online Application Form
Step 4 : Preview your duly filled in Application Form
Step 5 : Verify your details and submit your Application Form
Step 6 : Take the printout of the Application Form and to submit at the time of physical counselling.
While filling out the online application form, please choose the email ID you access frequently, as all communications from the NIPER Guwahati JEE Office will be sent to that email ID only (do not use anybody else’s email address). NIPER JEE office is no way responsible in case wrong email ID or mobile number is registered.

Requirements before filling online application form: Before starting the application process, please keep the following documents/ information ready :

• Your net-banking login and password to make the application fee payment via online mode. In case you are making the payment through debit card/credit card, you must have the information like debit card/credit card number, password, CVV number ready with you. ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR MASTER PROGRAMMES
a) Admission to M.S.(Pharm.), M.Pharm., programmes will be conducted through Physical counselling procedure. Counselling would be based on merit obtained by the candidates in common entrance examination conducted in the morning session under admission to M.S. (Pharm.)/ M.Pharm. /MBA (Pharm.) category.
Note : Candidates need to attend counselling at NIPER Guwahati physically. The exact dates will be notified in the NIPER Guwahati /NIPER JEE 2024 website. TA/DA will NOT be paid.
b) Admission for MBA (Pharm.) is based on combined merit in the common entrance exam conducted in the morning session under admission to M.S. (Pharm.)/ M.Pharm. /MBA (Pharm.) category (85%) followed by Group discussion (15%). Note: Candidates must attend group discussion physically at NIPER Guwahati followed by counselling. The exact dates will be notified in the NIPER Guwahati/ NIPER JEE 2024 website. TA/DA will NOT be paid for the group discussion and counselling.
c) Admission for M.Tech. programmes will be conducted through physical counselling. Counselling would be based on the separate merit obtained by the candidates in the exam conducted in the afternoon session under admission to M.Tech. category of the respective subject.
d) The allotted seat for the successful candidates shall be confirmed only after the payment of the requisite fees immediately after the counselling if admission is offered to the candidate.
e) The details of payable fees are provided in “Fees and Payments” head (Section 4.2 of the brochure). Candidates will be required to submit the requisite original documents as mentioned under “Documents to be submitted at the time of physical verification during counselling process.” head (List of Annexures).
