Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Knowledge of organic reactions, mechanisms, and theoretical concepts in spectroscopy. Hands-on experience in gram-scale organic synthesis, protection-deprotection methodologies, purification through column chromatography, interpretation of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy NMR, both 1D and 2D, and mass spectrometry. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered for a JRF position.

Discovery and development of therapeutic interventions against multi-drug resistant bacterial pathogens. Master degree in Life Sciences and National Eligibility test – CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship Assistant Professorship or GATE or A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Experience in the mammalian tissue culture work.

To undertake scientific research in the relevant areas at laboratory and in fields, including sea. PhD submitted in any branch of Science or Engineering in areas related to General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Job responsibilities including teaching at M. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy and Pharm D Level, Research and Administration activities. Good knowledge about the subject, basic computer skills and administration.

To assist in preparation of purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests. Follow up with suppliers in respect of timely supplies of products with respect to the issued purchase orders. 

To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted. Any other duties related to academic administration, student welfare, Institutional development etc. entrusted by the Head of the Institute.
