Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) under Ministry of Ayush is an apex body for conducting research in Siddha system of medicine and provides health care facilities through its 8 peripheral institutes / units and 5 co-located units of CCRS. The Council is engaged in multifaceted research activities. In the area of clinical research, pre-clinical Pharmacological / Toxicological studies, Open label trials, multi-centric Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) are being conducted for acute and chronic diseases. The main emphasis is on diseases of national health priority with a view to develop safe and effective Siddha treatments.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (Pharmacology)
Name of the IMR project : “Alternative therapy for diabetes retinopathy and Cataractogenesis by Flueggea virosa in Streptozotocin induces diabetic rats.
Number of post : One
Project duration : One year.
Essential qualification : M.VSc / M.Pharm specialization in Pharmacology from a recognized University with two years of research experience.
Desirable : (i) Qualified NET/ GATE/ GPAT
(ii) Experience in Handling of Laboratory animals (rats).
(iii) Knowledge of publishing research articles in peer reviewed/reputed indexed journals.
Pay : Rs. 42,000/- p.m. + HRA (as applicable)
General Terms and Conditions
1. Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per GOI rules.
2. The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of project. The selected candidate will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular post being vacant on a later date at this institute/council.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Candidates attending the interview should bring the original educational qualification, experience certificates and publications, any identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Pan card etc) with xerox copies and two passport size photos. Candidates already working should produce “No Objection Certificate” in case he/she is employed elsewhere.
