It is my privilege and honour to share my views on the website of PGIMS, Rohtak that our prestigious Institute Pt. B.D. Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak has glorious and illustrious history. It has grown leaps and bounds since then to become the epicentre for patient care from across Haryana as well as neighbouring States. In its nascent stage, Medical College was started as guest Institute in 1960 at Medical College, Patiala. Due to high demand for medical education and a deficient patient care services in the southern part of Haryana which was the then part of Punjab, it was shifted to Rohtak in 1963 during the tenure of Sardar Partap Singh Kairon who was then Chief Minister of Punjab. From a small guest institute to a mammoth and prestigious Institute in the country, it has been on a constant growth path and has never looked back since then.
Applications are invited on plain paper for the post of TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE under Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) in Department of Pharmacology. The appointment is purely temporary and will not be unfilled for permanent appointment.
Post: Technical Associate- One
Essential qualification: MBBS/BDS/M.Pharma/ Pharm.D or candidate with any other suitable qualification having experience in Phnrmacovigilance programme of India. (Candidate with proficiency in computer application will be preferred).
Place of work: Department of Pharmacology. PGIMS, Rohtak
Emolument: Rs 20.000/- per month (consolidated). The monthly emolument will be paid by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission upon monthly attendance report to he sent the coordinator of the AMC.
Job Description:
- Collection of ADR's report & Data entry in Vigiflow.
- Follow up with the complaint to check completeness as per SOP's.
- Reporting to the National Coordination Centre (NCC) through Vigiflow with the source data attached with each.
- Training/ sensitization/ feedback to physicians through newsletter circulated by the NCC.
- Other activities as assigned from lime to time by the competent authority
