The National Dope Testing Laboratory, an autonomous body, Government of India, is a premier scientific Institute and one of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)-Accredited Laboratories dedicated to human sports dope testing & allied research.This is the only Laboratory of its kind in the country having state-of-the-art facilities. It is equipped with latest and sophisticated analytical equipment including LC-Orbitrap-HRMS, GC/C/RMS, Sysmex XN 1000, Cobas e 411 etc. The Laboratory is pursuing research in the advanced areas of dope science and establishing collaboration with National and International Institutes.

Essential Qualification
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Biological / Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) / Pharmaceutical Sciences in relevant fields from a UGC/AICTE recognized University / Institute;
(ii) One year experience in Chemical and / or Bio-Chemical analysis preferably in Drug testing.

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will be accepted by NDTL for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.

PATTERN
• Examination will be in English as well Hindi i.e. Question paper will be
Bilingual (English/Hindi).
• The duration of the examination shall be 180 minutes.
• 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 200 Marks with four alternatives for each question where each question will carry one mark.
• 50 MCQs related to Mental Ability Test, 25 MCQs related to General Knowledge, 25 MCQs related to Test of English Language and 100 MCQs related to the subject.
• Standard of examination Graduate Level.
• There will be negative marking of ¼ Marks for each wrong answer.
• The qualifying marks will be 50% irrespective of the category the candidate belongs to – for the posts advertised for UR/OBC/EWS and 40% marks for posts advertised for SC category.
• NDTL reserves the right to conduct examination with 15 days in advance notice of date of examination depending upon the evolving situation of after closing date of application.
• No request to change in medium of examination will be entertained. Any query will stands summarily rejected without any reply. • To conduct examination, examination centers will be in New Delhi and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
The selection process consists of four sections Test (Time allotted-180 minutes) :
Mental Ability Test : Number of questions 50 ; Maximum marks 50
General Knowledge : Number of questions 25 ; Maximum marks 25
Test of English Language : Number of questions 25 ; Maximum marks 25
Subject Concerned : Number of questions 100 ; Maximum marks 100
Negative marks : Yes
The period of experience rendered by a candidate on a part-time basis, daily wages, visiting / guest faculty will not be counted while calculating the valid experience for shortlisting the candidates for written test.
Final Selection Criteria
In case of more than 1 candidate scoring the highest mark, (a) the final merit will be determined based on the highest mark scored among the candidates in the Mental Ability Test will be selected, (b) even then more than 1 candidate tie-up, then final merit will be determined based on highest mark scored among the candidates in BOTH MENTAL ABILITY TEST AND CONCERNED SUBJECT TEST will be selected and (c) Even then more than 1 candidate tie-up with the highest mark, then final merit shall be based on the older among the candidate as per their “date of birth”.
Note : There shall be no provision for re-evaluation/ re-checking of the scores of any stage of the Tests. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
HOW TO APPLY
5.1 Candidates are required to apply online through ndtlindia.com/career/. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
5.2 Candidates who have not acquired the mandatory / requisite educational qualification as on the closing date for receipt of on-line application need not apply. No correspondence or clarification will be entertained on this matter.
5.3 Candidate should read the instructions in the advertisement and online application form carefully before making any entry or selecting any option.
5.4 Before submitting on-line application, candidates are required to register themselves by clicking on one-time registration tab.
5.5 Before filling application form, candidates should keep ready the necessary documents / certificates required. Candidate is required to fill up personal details and details of post applied for etc. and upload recently taken front facing passport size photograph with Proper Plain Background.
5.6 Candidates working under the Central / State Government / Public Sector Undertakings should upload a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from their employer. No extension of time shall be provided for production of NOC.
5.7 Candidates are required to have a valid email ID and mobile number which should be kept active throughout the process of this recruitment. Candidates are required to download the Admit Card from the website of NDTL’s Official Website. No correspondence will be sent through post/courier.
5.8 Instruction for uploading Photo and Signature: Photo: Image should be of size 165 x 125 pixels in jpg/jpeg format and should not exceed 50 KB; Signature: Image should be of size 80 x 125 pixels in jpg/jpeg format and should not exceed 20 KB. 5.9 The candidate must ensure that their photo and signature is clearly visible in preview at the time of filling of application in online mode. If photo/signature displayed is small or not visible in preview on website, that means photo/signature is not as per the required format, the application will be rejected. Therefore, candidates must ensure that photo and signature are clearly visible.

5.11 Before clicking the submit button, the candidate is advised to check all the details filled in are correct. Candidate may also ensure that name, date of birth, etc. are entered correctly in the application form as per Secondary School Certificate (SSC). Any incorrect information may disqualify candidature. After final submission of application, no request for change/correction in any of the information in the application form shall be entertained under any circumstances.
5.12 After submitting the online application form, candidates are required to take print / save copy of the online application form and preserve it till the document verification/all the selection process completes.
5.13 Candidates are advised to submit the online application much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

6.2 Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be adjusted for any other subsequent recruitment.
ADMISSION TO EXAMINATION
7.1 Facility to download Admit Card will be made available well before the examination on the NDTL’s Official Website. Candidate must bring printout of the Admit card to the Examination Hall.
7.2 In addition to the Admit Card, it is mandatory to carry at least two passport size front face recent colour photographs and any of the following Original valid Photo-ID proof having the Date of Birth as printed on the Admit Card:
(a) Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar,
(b) Voter’s ID Card,
(c) Driving Licence,
(d) PAN Card,
(e) Passport,
(f) Employer ID Card (Government / PSU),
(g) Any other photo bearing ID Card issued by the Central/State Government.
7.3 If Photo Identity Card does not have the date of birth printed on it, then the candidate must carry an additional original document (e.g. Matriculation Certificate, Marks Sheet issued only by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards; Birth Certificate) in proof of their date of birth. Candidate must ensure that their date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY) mentioned in the application match with the valid ID Proof, failing which, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the/Manual Based Test. Any other document mentioned in the Admit Card shall also be carried by the candidates while appearing in the Manual Based Test.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
(a) NDTL reserves the right to Revise / Reschedule / Cancel / Suspend / Postpone / Withdraw recruitment process in respect of the post without assigning any reason. The decision of NDTL shall be final and no appeal shall be entertained. The number of vacancies indicated against each category is provisional and may or may not vary at the time of selection.
(b) The eligibility criteria including educational qualification and experience, if any as prescribed in the advertisement will be determined with reference to the closing date of receipt of on-line applications.
(c) The panel will remain normally for a period of one year from the date of preparation of panel. During this period, if the selected candidate declines the offer or does not join within the prescribed date, or where after joining dies or resigns, the offer may be made to the next candidate on the panel/Waiting list, provided fresh panel is not available by that time. Panel shall not be operated beyond one year or after notifying any such recruitment, whichever is earlier. However, in rare and exceptional cases, the Competent Authority may extend another 6 months in public interest after recording the reasons in writing. The actual number of vacancies filled up should not exceed the number of vacancies advertised unless an intention of doing so is indicated in the advertisement.
(d) The candidates appointed will be governed by the National Pension System.
(e) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should clearly indicate their category in the application (even when applying for UR vacancy) and should furnish proof of their category in the specified format at the time of Document Verification.
(f) Candidate must write Registration Number, Roll Number, registered Email-ID and Mobile Number along with name, date of birth and name of the examination, while addressing any communication to help on email scientificdir-ndtl@gov.in. Communication from the candidate not furnishing these particulars shall not be entertained.
(g) Record of candidates not selected shall not be preserved beyond 6 months from the date of publication of panel.
(h) Any amendment / information relating to this recruitment shall be made available on the website. Information displayed on the website shall be deemed as intimation to the candidates. Hence candidates must regularly check the website.
(i) The decision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), NDTL in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, and conduct of examination will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/her agency.
