M.Pharm, MSc, MTech Openings in GSBTM sponsored project at GBU

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 01 Post

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under the research project entitled “Targeting Autophagy and Microtubule Dynamics for Next- Generation Cancer and Neurovegetative Disease Treatment” funded by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Govt. of Gujarat at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU) under Dr. Ankit Rai and Prof. Rakesh Rawal. The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.

Minimum Qualifications : M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./ B.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology and allied areas with a minimum of 55% marks in the preceding qualification.

Desirable Qualifications :
• Candidates who have qualified the CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT- JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE etc. National-level exams will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience/interests in mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry.
• Candidates with good communication skills.

Age Limit : Up to 35 years on closing date of advertisement

Duration : Initially for 1 year, extendable on an annual basis for subsequent years (total 3 years or project tenure) subject to satisfactory progress, and financial provisions.

Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month (NET/GATE or national-level exam qualified candidates) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines. OR Rs.23,213/- fixed per month (For candidates who have not qualified for the national-level-examinations such as NET/GATE) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines.
