Erstwhile Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) was responsible for Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electricity in Chhattisgarh State. In accordance with the provisions contained in the Section 131-134 of Electricity Act 2003, Govt. of Chhattisgarh has reorganized erstwhile CSEB.

Under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended in 1973, 1986 & 2014), CGST Dist.Co. Ltd. has made provision for one (01) year apprenticeship to the trainees in the following disciplines for the year 2025-26.

Total Posts: 160 (UR 68, ST 51, SC 19, OBC 22)
Educational Qualification from a recognized Institution : B.Pharm / B.C.A. / B.B.A / B.A. / B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com Graduation in any discipline.
Stipend : Rs. 9,000/- per month for graduates and Rs. 8000/- per month for diploma holders.
Note : The period between the date of acquisition of educational qualification and the date of joining the apprenticeship should be five years or less.

Terms and Conditions
1. Selection Process:- Selection of candidates from the received applications will be done on the basis of merit list of marks obtained in graduation/diploma examination for apprenticeship.
2. Training period:- The (Apprenticeship) training of the candidates will be for a period of one (01) year only. After completion of training, the candidates will not be entitled for any type of temporary/permanent employment in CGST Dist. Co. Ltd.
3. Candidates who have work experience of one year or more or who have undergone/are undergoing training of this type in any other institution are not eligible for selection.
4. At the time of appearing for training, the selected candidates will have to submit a declaration that they have not previously received training anywhere under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended in 1973, 1986 & 2014).
If the educational qualification is less than one year or one year from the date of declaration of the exam result and the date of commencement of training, then the candidates will have to submit a self-affidavit on a stamp paper of Rs. 10 and if it is less than five years or five years, then the candidates will have to submit a self-affidavit on a stamp paper of Rs. 20. Candidates who have completed more than five years of graduation will not be eligible for training.
5. Hostel or vehicle facilities will not be provided to the apprentices.

6. It is mandatory for the candidates to register themselves in National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) (nats.education.gov.in) and Registration Number must be mentioned in the application form.
7. Application form is enclosed, please submit the application in the prescribed format only.
8. Incomplete and unclear application form will be rejected without any notice.
9. It is very important for the applicant to be a native of Chhattisgarh state.
10. It is mandatory to attach photocopies of the following certificates with the application form:-
a. Photocopy of 10th and 12th mark sheet.
b. Photocopy of graduation/diploma mark sheet/certificate.
c. It is mandatory for SC/ST/OBC candidates to attach photocopy of permanent caste certificate issued by the competent officer of Chhattisgarh Government.
d. Photocopy of permanent residence certificate.
e. Registration Form of National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) in which Registration Number and other Details are filled.
11. Last date for application 05.05.2025 Application forms can be submitted by post or directly in the office (office hours 11.00 am to 5.00 pm) till 05.05.2025. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
