Government Pharmacy Job in Jammu

Government Medical College, Jammu, a premier institute of J&K (Union Territory) was started in the year, 1973 in a temporary building with the object to provide quality education and deliver the health care service to the people of this region. This institution is located in the heart of Temple City Jammu. This institution was started with the aim to train fifty medical students for MBBS course per year and to serve as referral hospital for Jammu Province.

The Laboratory was established in 1941 as a research and production centre, known as Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State and was later taken over by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of Govt. of India in December 1957 as Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu. In view of its core strength in natural products based drug discovery, the mandate of Institute was redefined in 2005 and its name changed to Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM)

In pursuance to Govt. Order No. 442 HME of 24.04.2019. and DHS-J/Sch/PMBJAK/3129-39 Dated:02-01-2I WALK—IN -INTERVIEW for the below mentioned posts will be held for the registered pharmacists for running Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra to work on Profit sharing basis on temporary basis on 15th February, 2021.

The council was created under the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Act 1995, following demands of Ladakhi people to make Leh District a new Indian Union Territory because of its religious and cultural differences with the rest of Jammu and Kashmir. In October 1993, the Indian Union Government and the Jammu and Kashmir State Government agreed to grant Ladakh the status of Autonomous Hill Council. The council came into being with the holding of elections on 28 August 1995

In this regard, District Health Society Reasi intends to hire Registered Pharmacists from District Reasi to work on profit share basis at Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra (PMBJAK) to be established at District Hospital Reasi.
