Sanjo College of Pharmaceutical Studies (SCOPS) is a multi-arched facade with a plethora of choices from the regular syllabus up to nourishing the fresh minds of students with confidence. The KMCH College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1995 under the auspices of Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust, Coimbatore. The College is recognized by The Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Accredited by NBA [B.Pharm]. It is located at Kalapatti in a sprawling pollution free campus which is 3 KM away from Avinashi Road on national Highway and close to several prominent educational institutions. The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients.

"We cannot compare straight away with US or Europe and say that these should be community Pharmacy and they are lagging behind. I would say that Yes! we have to improve our services and role as Pharmacist in the community pharmacy that is more important and for that knowledge is important.
