The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients.
Applications are invited for the position of Two Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and One Research Scientist (RS) under industry sponsored research project for One year in Bioactive Natural Product Laboratory, Department of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research.
Senior Research Fellow - 02 posts
Essential Qualifications: M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry/ Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Chemistry/ QA) or equivalent degree in Pharmacy/ Biological sciences
Desirable qualifications: Experience of working in Industry/ Chromatographic analysis/ HPTLC/ HPLC/ Quantitative Microscopy/ QC/ Standardization
Salary: Rs 25000-30000 (Consolidated) per month depending on experience
Research Scientist - 01 post
Essential Qualifications: Ph D in Pharmaceutical/ Biological or Chemical sciences with proof of high quality publications in herbal drug / Plant drug analysis/ HPLC/ LCMS/ biological activities etc OR M. Pharm with minimum three years working experience in any reputed pharma/ herbal industry/ institute well experienced for working on HPLC/ HPTLC/ LCMS and using chromatographic and spectroscopic technique
Salary: Rs 40,000-50,000 (Consolidated) per month depending on experience
