    Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) is an apex research organization under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India which undertakes, coordinates, develops, disseminates and promotes scientific research in Homoeopathy.   The Headquarters of the Council are situated in New Delhi and multi-centric research is conducted through a network of 26 institutes/units all over India.

    The Regional Research Centre of Ayurveda (RRCA), Port Blair previously known as Ayurveda Tribal Health Care Research Project [ATHCRP] was established in the year 1984 at Malacca, Car Nicobar of A&N Islands. Unfortunately, this Research Centre along with all the records had submerged in the sea during the Earthquake and Tsunami on 26th December 2004. Thereafter this project was shifted from Car Nicobar to 30 bedded AYUSH Hospital, Atlanta Point, Port Blair on 14th February 2005 and henceforth it functioned there up to January 2015.

    Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Mother and Child Health is situated in the center of India at Nagpur. The institute was established as Regional Research Center (Ayurveda) on first July 1972, with Survey of Medicinal Plants Unit (SMPU) and Mobile Clinical Research Unit (MCRU). Afterwards this center has been upgraded as Regional Research Institute (Ayurveda) in the year 1999 and working with SMPU, THCRP and Clinical research at OPD and IPD level. Later this Institute is shifted to own building with the premises of approximately 7000 Sq.Mt.. Recently on 12th April 2016 this institute is renamed as ‘Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Mother and Child Health’.

    The Constitutional Provision under Article 315 to have a Public Service Commission for the State was fulfilled by constituting a State Public Service Commission in the year 1978. The Public Commission has actually started functioning from 1982 with the appointment of the Chairman and deputation of the staff from the State Government. Thereafter the Commission started to function in different rented buildings. At present the State Public Service Commission is located in the class rooms of the Old West Point School Complex.

  • National Medicinal Plants Board invites application for post of Deputy Director

    The Government of India has set up National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) on 24th November 2000. Currently the board is located in Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy), Government of India. The primary mandate of NMPB is to develop an appropriate mechanism for coordination between various ministries/ departments/ organizations in India and implements support policies/programs for overall (conservation, cultivation, trade and export) growth of medicinal plants sector both at the Central /State and International level.

The institute was upgraded and renamed as “Central Research Institute (Ayurveda)” on February 1997 by merging various units.
