National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.

The vision of NMIMS University is to define the 21st century technological and management research. Hence the goal for NMIMS University is to encourage excellence in research and publication activities. Research is a precursor to discovery and innovation. The University systems survive on the strength of research i.e. knowledge creation and dissemination system. Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehra Dun made a humble beginning as Forest School established in 1878. Initially named as Imperial Forest Research Institute, FRI came into being in 1906.  Later renamed as Forest Research Institute and Colleges, with a number of centres located at different places all over the country administering research as well as training of Forest Officers and Forest Rangers.  After reorganization of Forestry Research in the country and creation of Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) in 1988, the training and research centres were given an independent status of institutes. Forest Research Institute, now one of the institutes under ICFRE, was conferred the status of Deemed University in December 1991 on the recommendations of the UGC, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1997 by the well-known Philanthropist and Industrialist, late Sri ‘Padmabhushan’ Dr. B. V. Raju, under Dr. B. V. Raju Foundation and Sri Vishnu Educational Society. Sri K. V. Vishnu Raju, his grandson succeeded as Chairman and is making all efforts to impart the Quality Education.  Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy (SVCP) is the first private Pharmacy College affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and is situated in pollution free sprawling campus spread over 108 acres, with the latest equipment, spacious air-conditioned smart lecture halls, computer lab and seminar hall along with good library facilities.

The Bapatla College of Pharmacy is one of first private pharmacy colleges established in the year 1995. It is located on a 55-acre campus in Bapatla, the fast growing town and  is very well known as education hub because of wide number of renowned schools and colleges of which Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural College and the College of Agricultural Engineering , college of food science and technology, Bapatla Public School, Bapatla Engineering College, Bapatla Polytechnic college etc. are some of the most prestigious institutions . The campus incorporates  large areas of grass malls with well-lighted, tree-lined paths. The College is easily accessible by road from Bapatla town, providing 50,000 square feet of state-of-the-art teaching and laboratory facilities. Additionally, the pharmacy college houses a pilot plant of APOGEN Remedies (A pharmaceutical Drug Manufacturer) and CPCSEA approved animal house facility.

The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Panjab University is a premier institution of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in the country. The institute has covered a long and glorious journey of 76 years starting from Lahore in 1944 and finally settling to the present campus in Chandigarh at the foothills of Himachal. In its travelogue, the institute crossed multiple milestones and continue to head ahead towards the well-defined goals.

AIIMS Mangalagiri is a Tertiary healthcare institute of national importance, established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Applications are invited from the Director, AIIMS Mangalagiri from the eligible Indian nationals including overseas citizens of India for the following posts on regular basis in AIIMS, Mangalagiri.
