The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is an all– India Institution declared as deemed to be university established under section 3 of the UGC act. The Pharmacy department of BITS Pilani is one of the few early schools of Pharmacy in India. Established in 195BITS0, under the able leadership of (Late) Prof. M. L. Schroff, Father of Pharmacy Education in India, it blossomed into one of the most sought after Schools of Pharmacy in India due to its broad-based education system and university-industry linkages, which is the hallmark of BITS, Pilani.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by DST-SERB, under the supervision of Dr. Anupama Mittal (PI) and Dr. Deepak Chitkara (Co-I), Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan.
Project Title : Peptide-tethered multifunctional cationic nanocomplexes for delivery of IL-1 receptor antagonist for treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus
Duration : Three years
Essential Qualification : M.Pharm / M.S.(Pharm.) in Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutical chemistry with GATE / GPAT / CSIR-NET or equivalent examination.
