Mankind Pharma Limited reported strong financial performance for the second quarter of FY2026–27, with consolidated revenue from operations rising 17.3% year-on-year to ₹4,338 crore, compared with ₹3,697 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The pharmaceutical company’s net profit increased 37.7% to ₹716 crore from ₹520 crore in Q2 FY26. EBITDA rose 27.2% to ₹1,175 crore, compared with ₹924 crore a year earlier, while the EBITDA margin improved by 210 basis points to 27.1%. The results reflect sustained growth in the company’s domestic pharmaceutical business and a strong expansion in export revenue.
Mankind Pharma’s domestic revenue, including consumer healthcare, increased 14.8% year-on-year to ₹3,657 crore. Excluding consumer healthcare, domestic pharmaceutical revenue grew 15.9% to ₹3,428 crore.
The company reported strong demand across chronic and acute therapeutic segments. Cardiac and anti-diabetes products recorded growth of approximately 19% and 16%, respectively, according to the company’s management commentary.
Its acute portfolio also performed well, supported by gastrointestinal and vitamin, mineral and nutrition products. Domestic secondary sales grew 15.7%, outperforming the Indian Pharmaceutical Market’s growth of 14.2%.
Exports emerged as another major growth driver, with revenue increasing 32.7% year-on-year to ₹681 crore from ₹513 crore in Q2 FY26.
The company attributed the growth in international revenue to strong performance across Mankind Pharma’s international business and Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV). During the quarter, the company also launched one new product in the United States, taking its total number of launched products in the market to 50.
Mankind Pharma’s consumer healthcare business recorded revenue of ₹229 crore, up 1.2% year-on-year. The company said growth was affected by slower category offtake across the industry and regional challenges in eastern and southern India.
Despite these pressures, the company gained market share in key brands, including Manforce and Preganews. Its modern trade and e-commerce channels accounted for 18% of the business in Q2 FY27, compared with 12% a year earlier, supported by 55% growth in these channels.
The company’s profitability strengthened during the quarter, with gross margin rising to 72.2% from 71.3% in Q2 FY26. EBITDA margin expanded to 27.1% from 25%, while net profit margin improved to 16.5% from 14.1%. Profit after tax increased to ₹716 crore, reflecting stronger operating performance and improved margins.

Mankind Pharma highlighted its acquisition of Armed Cell Therapeutics as a strategic step towards entering next-generation CAR-T therapies. The move is intended to strengthen the company’s research and development capabilities and support its long-term growth strategy.
Rajeev Juneja, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mankind Pharma, said the company’s performance reflected disciplined execution and strengthening business fundamentals. He highlighted domestic business growth, improving performance across therapeutic segments and the expansion of the international business.
Mankind Pharma delivered strong Q2 FY27 results, supported by double-digit domestic growth, robust exports and improved operating margins. With revenue rising 17.3% and net profit increasing 37.7% year-on-year, the company continued to build momentum during the first half of FY27.
