The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc. In addition, departments of Accident & Emergency, Biostatistics, Medical Engineering, Hospital administration, Genetics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Telemedicine, Clinical Epidemiology and Medical Education Cell etc are also planned. This institution should also provide a good opportunity to promote basic scientists and biotechnologists and studies in genomics, proteomics and metabonomics providing opportunity to work in close proximity of rich clinical material.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for contractual post of Junior Research Fellow for the project entitled “Mass Spectrometry based identification and characterization of mycolic acid derived lipid biomarker and their application for development of a lateral flow POC device for tuberculosis diagnoses.'' at Department of Translational Medicine. Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Pay scale : Rs. 31000/- + 18% HRA (Consolidate)
Number of posts : 01 UR
Qualifications : Essential : First Class M.SC. (Only Regular) in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Science.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Mycobacteriology with Molecular Techniques Culture Techniques/POC (Point of Care) device Handlings
Desirable :
• TB Research Experience.
Age Limit : 30 years (Age relaxation admissible as per ICMR guideline)
