The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) and the Bombay Public Trust Act (1950). Its Governing Council is headed by the Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, Government of India.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
• Recent Ph.D. in Life Sciences from a government recognized University or research institution.
• At least one research article publication in a reputed international journal.
• Experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and animal cell culture and/or Drosophila culture.
Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest; hence results-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 46,800/- per month. (Rs36000 + 30% HRA)
The work progress of the candidate will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.

No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the interview as well Candidates (from other state) has to make their own arrangement for accommodation/ stay in Navi Mumbai.
At the time of Interview the candidate should bring original certificates along with CV with contact details of 2 referees and submit the photocopies (attested) of the certificates, with a recent passport size photograph.
