The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Application are invited on plain paper for the contractual post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST-SERB funded project entitled “Modulation of Wnt and cAMP signaling pathway may have invention on ASD rodent model through.............” under Dr. Ajay Piakash, Associate Professor. Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh 160012. The post is purely on contract basis for six months and may be extended upon DST - SERB norms.
Qualification : Master’s Degree in Pharmacology / Life Sciences with any specializations from recognized University (As per DST rules).
Desirable : Preference will be given to (ICMR/GATE/NET) qualified candidate and relevant experience in the field along with hands on skills in any one technique such as in silico, cell culture, qRT-PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and shall animal handling is desirable.
Age : As per GOl rules
Pay Scale : As per DST SERB rules
