The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

One post of Clinical Research Coordinator purely on temporary basis in the clinical trial project entitled “Phase Ilb/III study to determine efficacy of curcumin and metformin to reduce the incidence of second primary tumors of aero-digestive tract in patients with history of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma”is to be filled up in the department of Otolaryngology & HNS, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Qualification : M.Sc degree in life sciences mandatory. MD/MS, Ph.D
Desirable : 6 months experience of working in any other research project
Salary : Rs 20,000/- per month
Age limit : 18-35 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidate)
