The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TMC is an autonomous body funded, controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI). The HBNI is a Deemed University of the Department of Atomic Energy with a mission to develop high quality postgraduate educational programs in science and technology including those related to life and health sciences.

Applications are invited for the following posts on “DHR-ICMR Advance Molecular Oncology Diagnostic Services (DIAMOnDS) under HTA in Pilot Research Project” Project(A/c No.4261)for a period of six months.

Scientific Officer C

Qualification
M.Sc. First Class in the relevant subject area (Applied Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Microbiology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry) from a reputed govt recognized university with 4 years of R&D experience or B.Tech Biotechnology  from a reputed university with 6 years of research experience. Candidate should be well versed with molecular techniques, handling of PCR, RT PCR, gene sequencing with at least 1year experience in a diagnostic laboratory. Candidates with correspondence course in any open university will not be entertained.

Emoluments p.m. : RS.57600/- P.M

Upper age limit : Not exceeding 40 years

Research Assistant

Qualification
Graduate (B.Sc./ B.Tech) in Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Applied Biology, Biotechnology Medical laboratory Technology, Genetics, Molecular Biology from a reputed university (Full time course) with minimum 60% marks with minimum 2 years of experience in a reputed molecular diagnostics laboratory. Candidate should be well versed with good laboratory practices, Accreditation, hands on experience in handling PCR, real time PCR, FISH and Gene sequencing. Candidates with correspondence course in any open university will not be entertained.

Emoluments p.m. : RS.31000/- P.M

Upper age limit : Not exceeding 30 years
