The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003 to achieve the following mission, goal and objectives.
Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the following posts under the project entitled “Surveillance of Foodborne Diseases pathogens in North East India” funded by ICMR, India at IBSD, Imphal.
Project Technical Support III (Research Assistant) - 01 post
Upper age limit : 35
Fellowship : Rs. 28,000/- + 9% HRA per month
Duration : 03 years or till the completion of the project.
Qualifications : Essential : M.Sc. in Microbiology Biotechnology/ Medical Microbiology/ Pathology with two year research experience.
Desirable qualifications : Having experience for microbial sample collections, isolation and characterization and identification supported by publications.

Duration : 03 years or till the completion of the project.
Qualifications : B.Sc in Microbiology Biotechnology/ Medical Microbiology, Life Sciences etc.
Data Entry Operator - 01 post
Upper age limit : 30
Fellowship : Rs. 20,000/- + 9% HRA per month
Duration : 03 years or till the completion of the project.
Qualifications : B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Computer Sciences etc. having computer knowledge or Certificate courses. etc.
1. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as perGoI norms.
