Applications are invited for the below mentioned post in an extramural project on ‘Development, validation and evaluation of the impact of implementation of E-counselling based macro - micronutrient and lifestyle intervention programme on PCOS related signs/symptoms in adolescent girls of Chandigarh’ sanctioned and funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi. The project posts are purely on contract basis for up to 30th April 2024, or until completion of the project (whichever is earlier), and those selected shall have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR or PGIMER or any other project or any other entitlements other than salary.
Eligibility : PhD in Life sciences / Bio-technology, preferably in Community Medicine / Public Health or (Studied full time) OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design, development experience after MPH / MVSC / M.Pharm with at least one research paper in SCI journal
Desirable : Work experience with community-based projects; at least two publications in MEDLINE indexed journals
Age limit : Below 35 years (5 years relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidates)
Emoluments : As per ICMR guidelines
Nature of duty : Overall coordination for effective implementation of the project, preparation of SOPs and strategies of implementation, maintaining liaison with key personnel in the hospital and outside stakeholders, Finalize the list and map the study participants (collection, compilation, removing the duplication and merging), Prepare, implement and supervise the workplan for implementation of the project, organizing sensitization meetings/training, Collection of required data at the hospital or at the home of the study participants, collection of qualitative data, Supportive supervision and monitoring of the implementation of study procedures, quality assurance, submission of weekly progress report, support in organizing the trainings/workshops, enter the data in the computer, conduct data analysis and report writing, assist in obtaining necessary administrative and financial approvals.

The date of interview will be on 01.01.2024 (tentatively). The short-listed candidates will be intimated about the time and place of the interview via email. The interview will be conducted physically following COVID-19 appropriate behavior. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending this interview. Any applicant reporting late will not be assessed further.
