Life Sciences Recruitment at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology

NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & its applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and Nutrigenomics.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against the DST-Inspire Faculty grant entitled “Role of Ndfip proteins in APP processing and degradation: implications in Alzheimer’s disease’

Essential qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry) with experience in research in academic institutions or Science and Technology organizations.
Desirable Experience : Candidates with experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, gene cloning and western blotting will be given preference.
Fellowship amount : Rs.20,000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.
Age : 50 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
