  • Job postings for Pharmacy Professionals in Indian National Science Academy

    INSAThe Indian National Science Academy (INSA) was established in January 1935 with the object of promoting science in India and harnessing scientific knowledge for the cause of humanity and national welfare. The foundation of the Academy, earlier known as the National Institute of Sciences of India (NISI), was the outcome of joint endeavours of several organizations and individuals and the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) playing a leading role in this regard.

    Applications are invited for the following positions, purely on contract basis (co-terminus with the project) in the project “India-UK Energy Demand Reduction in the Built Environment Programme involving India‟s Department of Science & Technology (DST) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), as part of the Research Councils UK (RCUK)” programme, hereinafter will be referred as ‘Project’, on payment of consolidated remuneration indicated below:

    The “Central Government Health Scheme” (CGHS) for the Central Govt. employees and their dependents was started in New Delhi in 1954. Subsequently, the scheme was extended to pensioners, freedom fighters and other specific groups of people. The scheme was introduced in Kolkata during 1972. Apart from Delhi and Kolkata, the scheme now covers the cities of Mumbai, Allahabad, Meerut, Kanpur, Patna, Nagpur, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Pune, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, Shillong, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar and Ranchi.

  • Applications are invited for Scientific Attache at Department of Science & Technology | Government of India

    Department of Science & Technology (DST) was established in May 1971, with the objective of promoting new areas of Science & Technology and to play the role of a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting S&T activities in the country. Out of the 17000-18000 species of flowering plants, more than 7000 are estimated to have medicinal usage in folk and documented systems of medicine like Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH System of Medicine).  Medicinal plants are not only a major resource base for the traditional medicine & herbal industry but also provide livelihood and health security to a large segment of Indian population.

  • Recruitment for B.Pharm, M.Pharm to work at NPPA- an organization of the Government of India

    NPPA is an organization of the Government of India which was established, inter alia, to fix/ revise the prices of controlled bulk drugs and formulations and to enforce prices and availability of the medicines in the country, under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995. The organization is also entrusted with the task of recovering amounts overcharged by manufacturers for the controlled drugs from the consumers.It also monitors the prices of decontrolled drugs in order to keep them at reasonable levels.

    National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) under the Department of Pharmaceuticals proposes to engage seven (07) Senior/Principal Associates at various levels on contract basis.
