Cardiothoracic & Neurosciences Center (CN Center) of Gauhati Medical College Hospital is a State of the Art Institute established by Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt, of Assam with 300 Bedded strength having all modern equipments for Diagnostics and treatment. This Super Specialty Hospital already started from 10th May, 2022. The institute now required following medical professionals.

Dr. John Berry White, MRCS, a British Surgeon of the East India Company, was the pioneer to start Health Education and health care in Assam. He established a medical school known as 'Berry White Medical School' at Dibrugarh, Assam in 1898-99.
