It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.

Visiting Specialist at Health Department's newly approved Urban CHC (UCHC) of Vadodara Municipal Corporation, Contract Paramedical Staff for 11 months as well as Outsourcing on a very temporary basis. Applications are invited online only.

Banaskantha District includes the area around the Bank of Banas river. The District is situated between 23.33 to 24.45 north latitude and72.15 to 73.87 east longitude. Banaskantha District lies on north-west side of Gujarat State. The District is surrounded by Marwad and Sirohi regions of Rajasthan State in the north, Sabarkantha District in the east, Mehshana District in the south and Patan District in the west.Border of Pakistan touches the desert. Strategically, Banaskantha District is of much importance because of its sensitive borders.

Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Limited was established in August 1976 and registered under the Companies Act 1956.  In 1979 the Minor Forest Produce trade was nationalized in Gujarat. The Corporation was entrusted with the task of its execution. This meant translating on the ground the State Policy of protecting economic interest of STs, SCs and other weaker sections, while justifying its Corporate status. This Corporation gets no grants and budgetary support from the Government.
