Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998.

Sri Sai Group which had a very humble start in the field of Higher and Technical education in the year 1996 has become a force to reckon with now with mega campuses in Punjab at Pathankot & Amritsar and Sri Sai University at Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. Sri Sai College of Pharmacy started in the year 2004.  The institute is managed by Sri sai college of engineering and Technology Trust.  It is teeming with academic research, medicinal garden, canteen, play ground and personal development activities. The Institute offers D. Pharm, (2 years) B. Pharm (4 years) and M. Pharm (2 Years) (Pharmaceutics).
