Microbiology

Central University of Haryana is one of the fifteen new Central Universities established by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India (GoI) in XI Five Year Plan (2007-2012) under the Central University Act-2009 of the Parliament.  The University has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade in the second cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation conducted in August 2023. The University has been listed among the top 150-200 Universities in NIRF ranking. The University is fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Laurus Bio is a subsidiary of Laurus Labs and is an integrated research-driven biomanufacturing organization with over 15 years of experience in precision fermentation and recombinant DNA technology. We have a unique history and experience developing and manufacturing ultra-pure animal-free recombinant products for the biopharma industry and high-volume industrial-scale biotechnology products for food, health, and nutrition markets.

The Directorate of Forensic Science services (DFSS) was created in the year 2002 by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, after bifurcation from BPR&D, based on the recommendations of National Human Rights Commission and Padmanabhaiah Committee on Police Reforms. The Gazette notification to this effect was issued by MHA vide its Order no. 25011/41/2001-GPA.II/PM-II on December 31, 2002. It is headed by Director-cum-Chief Forensic Scientist.

National Institute of Pathology has emerged as one of the premier research institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), with the commitment to contribute through excellence in scientific research. The Institute was recognized as an Institute of Excellence by Ministry of Health & FW for running courses for short-term training for technicians and pathologists for WHO.
