Opportunity for M.Pharm, M.S or MTech Pharm as Research Scientist at KLE College of Pharmacy

The KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (KAHER), is Deemed-to-be University located in Belagavi, Karnataka, was established in the year 2006 under the recommendation of University Grants Commission and is a part of KLE Society that runs about 310 educational institutions all over the country. KAHER is placed in Category A by MOE (GOI) and accredited with A+ grade in the third cycle by NAAC. KLE College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru, established in 1976, is a constituent unit of KAHER. The college is reaccredited (3rd time) by NBA, New Delhi for 6 years with NIRF ranking.

Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non Medical) in an ICMR project sanctioned up to three years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Project Title : “Development of Novel Activation Modulated pH Triggered controlled release Gastroretentive in situ gelling system for oral delivery of iron: In vivo evaluation in human subjects” (Project ID: IIRPSG 2024-01-00247)

Essential qualification : First class M.Pharm. / M.S. (Pharm.) / M.Tech (Pharm) / Ph.D / Postdoc.

Desirable qualification : Candidates with valid GATE/GPAT/CSIR UGC-NET Score will be preferred. Candidates with previous experience in Formulation Development and evaluation of controlled release formulations using different analytical techniques, animal handling, HPLC method development, managing clinical trials and scientific writing as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications will be preferred.

Duration : The initial appointment will be for 1 year.
The contract will be renewable subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements. The total duration of the project is 3 years.
