Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy with one-year residency or fellowship or equivalent clinical experience. This Manager position will participate and lead in the direction, supervision, and provision of daily pharmacy operations in the Central Pharmacy in University Hospital over order verification, medication preparation and distribution across morning, afternoon, and midnights shifts.

Collaborates with BD and MSAT to ensure cross-functional alignment with platform process, equipment, raw materials, and, or automation for NLT one area ; Clearly understands, communicates, and manages differences in terms of documentation, sample handling, automation, cGMPs, etc. for different phases of the product life cycle.

Responsible for all daily functions and operation of Cape Fear Valley Specialty Pharmacy Manages daily operations of Cape Fear Valley Specialty Pharmacy. Develops and implements business and marketing models to grow the Specialty Pharmacy network within Cape Fear Valley Health System. Works with the outpatient pharmacy managers to get specialty prescriptions filled.

Familiarity with institutional requirements for animal use and welfare in pharmacology experiments is essential. Additionally, you will effectively communicate the goals, protocols, and results, contribute to regulatory submissions, and foster cross-team collaboration to enhance IMA research innovation and decision-making processes.

Hire, orient, train, and conduct performance reviews for staff handling research administration activities associated with the conducting of clinical trials. Monitor staffing levels and identify adequate coverage for trial workload across teams of study coordinators. 

Review complex pharmaceutical treatment plans, programs and develops, issues treatment guidelines, instructions and procedures establishing technical and administrative pharmaceutical care requirements.

Sales ability, persuasiveness, use of appropriate interpersonal style and communication methods to facilitate an acceptance of an idea, plan, activity or product from targeted customers. Establishes account plans based on customer needs and business priorities.

Contribute to Territory, District and Ferring success by promoting and selling Ferring products to attain or exceed established sales quotas. Serve as primary Ferring contact with assigned customers in territory. Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to management and other Ferring stakeholders as required.
