The college is affiliated to RUHS,Jaipur,approved by PCI and AICTE New Delhi.College is furnished by well equipped laboratories and advanced teaching methods. The sponsoring body is Gomber Foundation, a voluntary, not-profit making, non-sectarian charitable organization registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 established by Founder presided, Mr. V.K. Jaipur College of Pharmacy (JCP), established in the year 2003 and managed by “Modern Society for Education & Research”, is solely devoted to the growth and development of Pharmacy education in the state of Rajasthan. Members of the Society include eminent educationists, educational administrators, and highly qualified professionals from the field of Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Science and Technology and allied subjects. JCP is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Govt. of Rajasthan and is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur. JCP is located at Sitapura Institutional Area, Jaipur just behind Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and Medical College. Initially degree (B.Pharm) and diploma (D.Pharm) courses were started from 2003 & subsequently M.Pharm courses were added from 2009. JCP is approved research centre by RUHS for PhD. in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is an all– India Institution declared as deemed to be university established under section 3 of the UGC act. The Pharmacy department of BITS Pilani is one of the few early schools of Pharmacy in India. Established in 1950, under the able leadership of (Late) Prof. M. L.

Retired Armed Forces personnel till 2002 could avail medical facilities only for specific high cost surgery/treatment for a limited number of diseases covered under the Army Group Insurance(Medical Branch Scheme) (AGI(MBS)) and Armed Forces Group Insurance Scheme(Management Information System) (AFGIS (MIS)) schemes. These medicare schemes could provide some relief to the ESM, but it was not a comprehensive scheme as compared to and available for other Central Government Employees. Therefore, the requirement was felt of establishing a medicare system which could provide quality medicare to the retirees of the Armed Forces.
