Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989. It was established in 1994, since then  the University is steadily becoming  an excellent centre of learning. Essential Educational Qualifications :
M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ Industrial Pharmacy) with at least 55% marks. CSIR-NET (LS)/GATE/ JAM/ GPAT qualified candidates will be preferred.

Desirable qualifications :
Candidates having experience in animal handling/ cell culture training/ HPLC analysis would be preferred.

Age limit : Below 30 years on closing date of advertisement (Age relaxation will be given as per DBT, Govt, of ndia rules)

Salary : Rs 25,000+ 30% HRA = Rs. 32,500 pm
(As per DBT norms, only if candidate is CSIR-NET(LS)/GATE/JAM/GPAT qualified). For non- CSIR-NET(LS)/ GATE/ JAM/ GPAT qualified candidates, Fellowship as per institute norms
