The candidate must possess a thorough understanding of relevant disease biology, the clinical landscape, emerging technologies, and the competitive environment. 

Must have hands on experience in working with chemical methods and handling instruments like Prep HPLC and HPLC. Expertise in HPLC & Prep HPLC method development and basic undersatnding in data interpretation of various analytical technique such as LCMS, GCMS, FTIR, UV-Visible, NMR etc is required.

Skilled scientist with expertise in trace level quantification of GTI/ Nitrosamines/Nitrites or similar impurities using LC-UV/FID, Ion chromatography and LCMS. Ensure all own activities are aligned with overall drug development process. Work according to appropriate SOPs, GMP, GLP, QM, HSE, ISEC & Novartis Guidelines; Strategic and scientific contribution to Networks, target achievements according to net-work charter and annual objectives

Analytical Development Scientist with some supervision from the Analytical Development Lead focuses on the analysis of route scouting and Chemical Process Development of Bayers existing and pipeline crop protective agents. Collaborates with all internal and external functional teams. Method development for new entities and in-process on GC, GC-MS, HPLC, and various analytical techniques.

Post Graduate degree in any of the subjects viz- Biochemistry or Chemistry or Microbiology or Molecular biology or Pharmacology or Pharmacy or Toxicology or Virology or Zoology or Biotechnology or Botany or Bio-Informatics or Biostatistics with eight years Research and Development or Teaching or working experience from public sector or Government recognized institutions. 

1st class masters degree in microbiology, medical microbiology, life sciences, zoology, biostatistics, biotechnology, genetics, or biochemistry or related subject from a recognized university AND 4 years experience.

Ability to interpret and troubleshoot data generated. Knowledge on working with small molecules and membrane proteins in a Biacore instrument will be an added advantage.

Doctoral Degree Ph.D in Life Science, Biological Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Zoology OR M.Tech, Integrated M.Tech. in Biotechnology AND 4 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations.

Demonstrates a robust scientific approach to laboratory analysis. Regularly utilizes personal experience, academic training, and technical insights, including emerging sciences, to address complex technical issues within the laboratory.
