Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal was instituted in May 1981 as “Regional Research Laboratory” (RRL) and officially started functioning from CSIR, New Delhi.  The institute was then shifted to Bhopal and was located in the then Bhopal (now Barkatullah) University campus. It subsequently found a place in the present premises in December 1983; the premise which was originally built to accommodate a Cooperative Training College.

Dr Bhagat Singh Rai Institute of Science and Technology is the P1 Engineering and Pharmacy College in Seoni (M.P.) Approved by A1CTE, PCI New Delhi & Affiliated to R.G.P.V. Bhopal. The Campus is spread over a lush green environment of approx. 5 acres. The building has tutorial rooms, lecture halls, computer and electronics labs and offices of the administrations and faculty. The Reserve Bank of India was established on April 1, 1935 in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.  The Central Office of the Reserve Bank was initially established in Kolkata but was permanently moved to Mumbai in 1937. The Central Office is where the Governor sits and where policies are formulated. Though originally privately owned, since nationalisation in 1949, the Reserve Bank is fully owned by the Government of India.
