Railway Recruitment Board, initially was known as Railway Service Commission but in January 1985 it was renamed as Railway Recruitment Board. These were the small’s beginnings which is due course developed into a network of railway lines all over the country. By 1880 the Indian Railway system had a route mileage of about 9000 miles. Distance Vision : 6/12, nil with or without glasses Near Vision: Sn. 0.6 combined with or without glasses where reading or close work is required
Examination Fee :
1. For all candidates (except categories mentioned below at SI. No. 2). Out of this fee of Rs 500/-, an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in CBT. : Rs.500/-
2. For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC). f Caution to Candidates: EBC should not be confused with OBC or EWS) This fee of Rs 250/- shall be ref .inded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing In CBT. : Rs. 250/-

ELIGIBILITY : Eligibility of the candidates will be provisional based on details furnished by the candidates in the application. Candidates must satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post, if any claim madein the application is not substantiated, the candidature of candidate will be cancelled.
NOTE : 1. A candidate can apply to only one RRB and only ONE online application has to be submitted.
