Qualification for the Post of Professor:
1. Bachelors and Master Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master Degree
2.Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate discipline
3.Post Ph.D publications & guiding Ph.D Students is highly desirable
Experience: Minimum of 10 years Teaching/ Research/ Industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor
OR
Minimum of 13 years experience in Teaching and/or Research and/or Industry.In case of Research experience good academic record and Books/Research Papers Publications/IPR/Patent record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of Selection Committee.
If the experience in Industry is considered, the same shall be at Managerial Level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, Planning,executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/research paper Publication/ IPR/Patent etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee.
Qualification for the post of Associate Professor :
- 1.Bachelors and Master Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master Degree.
- 2.Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
- 3.Post Ph.D. publications & guiding Ph.D. Students is highly desirable ssociate Professor
Exp erience: Minimum of 05 year experience in Teaching/Research/Industry of which 02 years post Ph.D. experience is desirable.
Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor:
Bachelors and Master Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master Degree.
Qualification for the Post of Librarian:
- 1.Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of 55% marks where grading system is practiced and a consistently good academic recorded with knowledge on computerization on library.
- 2. Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET / SET in Library Science conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
- 3. Holders of Ph.D Degree as on the date of Notifications of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D degree thorough a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D Degree), Regulations and so adopted by the university shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- 4. NET can be relaxed for candidates having 1st Class Masters of Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science.
Qualification for the Post of Physical Director:
- 1.Master’s degree in Physical Education or master degree in Sports Science with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalence in a grade point scale with a consistently Good academic record.
- 2.Record of having represented the university/ college at the inter-university/inter-Collegiate competitions or the State and /or national championships.
- 3.Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET/SET in Physical Education Conducted for the Purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
- 4.Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations,along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D degree though a process of admission, registration lowers work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and procedure for award of Ph.D.Degree)Regulations, and so adopted by the university shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- 5.NET can be relaxed for candidates having 1st Class Masters of Physical Education or Master’s degree in Sports Science.
