Post: Group Leader (Dy. Manager / Manager - Research & Development - API)

Job Description:
1. To plan the following activities of various projects assigned.
- Literature Search of the product.
- Identification of synthetic route.
- Arrange Raw materials and chemicals required for final synthetic route.
- Conduct exploratory experiments to finalize the synthetic route.
- Provide complete technical details to Analytical Development Department to Develop the analytical method
- To analyze the data related to process / analytical results
- To review the progress of experiments conducted by researchers on routine basis.
- To prepare developmental history containing all process parameters.
2. To supervise & provide all technical support to scientists.
3. To prepare project schedule & adhere to it.
4. Responsible for scale-up and commercial batches.
5. To develop scientists by technical discussion and motivation
6. Responsible for cost-excellence of the projects assigned.
7. To ensure the use of safety appliances, by subordinates as & when necessary.
8. To sign Laboratory Note Book with Conclusion & Remarks against objective of each experiment.

Candidate Profile:
Qualification & Experience – M.Sc or Ph.D in Organic Chemistry having 5-10 years of experience in R & D, Synthesis in API Industries
