THE INDIAN OPERATION:
In India, Wyeth Ltd. and Pfizer Ltd operate as separate subsidiaries of Pfizer Inc, USA and the Consumer Healthcare business which is part of Wyeth Ltd. has two major brands in the portfolio which are manufactured by third parties
• Anne French (Hair Removal Cream)
• Anacin Analgesic tablets
Key Deliverables of the Role:
1. Development of new products and improvements in formulations of existing products and packaging.
2. Product development / stability studies
3. Packaging materials development / stability studies
4. Interaction with health authorities
5. Product technology transfer from development stage to commercial batch scale to third party manufacturing location
6. For any new packaging change, machine change parts requirement and vendor identification. Approval of Engineering Drawings.
7. Provide technical support to production / QA at third party manufacturing sites & at corporate office
8. Preparation of product dossier (Batch Manufacturing / Packing records / Raw Materials / Packaging materials / Finished products release specifications & testing methods / validation documents)
9. Handling non-medical consumer complaints
10. Review & approval of promotional materials
11. Interaction with vendors for products / material sourcing.
12. Interaction with various internal functions such as Marketing, Sales, Quality Control, Legal, Medical, Production, Procurement, etc.
Candidate Profile:
• A post-graduation in Pharmacy
• About 10-15 years of post qualification experience in product development / production / QA / Regulatory in a Pharma / OTC / Cosmetics environment.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills.
