Post: Senior Analyst – Sales Force Effectiveness

Job Description:
Reports to: Group Head, Business Analytics

Job Purpose:
To provide analytical support for the Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) department of assigned Country Organizations with analysis, design and tracking of their field force activity and performance.

Major Accountabilities:
• To provide analytical support to the Sales Force Effectiveness department
• Support the design of the FF structures and territories
• Support the development of competitive selling metrics to meet country sales force opera-tional & strategic plans
• Ability to provide understandable and actionable metrics for first line sales managers
• Ability to translate business questions into usable report supported by rigorous analysis
• Support the management and collation and delivery of sales and activity KPI reports
• Support the design and calculations of sales incentive schemes for country organizations
• Working with the Regional Business Analytics Teams in providing analysis and interpreta-tion of sales force effectiveness and efficiency management team.
• Understand CPO business environment and sales strategies.

Candidate Profile:
Ideal Background:
Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering/Pharmacy/Science; MBA desirable
• 3+ years experience in Business & Sales Force Analytics (Pharma) with specific experience of producing Key Performance Indicators or similar monthly reports for Senior Management.

Required Skills:
• Strong quantitative & systems background
• Desirable: Good knowledge of VBA and/or SQL – ability to write, understand and manage queries/codes and extract complex datasets
• Ability to write queries and produce reports from MS-ACCESS
• Familiarity with Siebel and CRM / ETMS systems for sales would be an added advan-tage
• Understanding of IMS data and trends
• Ability to interpret, cull-out & synthesize data from IMS & other suppliers in Microsoft Excel or similar platforms to produce meaningful analyses
• Ability to produce professional PowerPoint Slides that clearly communicate analyses to marketing.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership ability.
• Attention to detail and quality focused.
• Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
• Business Acumen – understands the need to track performance against internal Budget (financial) targets and can produce analyses to track this.
