Job Description:
Reports to: Group Head - Business Analytics
Job Purpose: Managing local Hyderabad Sandoz WE Team across all areas of activities. Currently the areas are SFE and KAM support, Business Analytics and Portfolio Management Support and Medical Marketing Support.
Main interface to Sandoz Regional office and country organizations. Leads Pricing & Tendering strategies & tools topic.
Major Accountabilities:
Based on Regional road map and existing mile stones:
• Fast ramp up and ongoing management of Hyderabad team
• Strong interface between HOKI and Hyderabad, ensuring deliverables agreed are on time and in required quality
• Anticipating Western European support needs, developing local team and deliverables
• Active team member of M&S / Portfolio Mgmt and Strategic Planning teams in HOKI
• Challenging existing processes, tools methods to continuously move up the quality ladder
• Lead pricing and tendering strategy programme
• Lead go to market approach modelling
Candidate Profile:
Education:
Business Degree (MBA) with
Engg /Pharmacy/Advanced life science degrees
Languages:
English, excellent
French / Spanish / Italian would be added advantage
Experience:
8+ years experience with a leading MNC or Indian Pharmaceutical company in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Portfolio Planning, International Operations or Key Account Management
• Past experience with generic company in managing business with Europe & North America
• Proven operational experience and leadership capabilities Gx or pharma company; experience with top consulting company preferable but not mandatory
Specific Professional Competencies: Indicate any other soft / technical / professional knowledge and skills requirements
• Outstanding in building relationships across countries and cultures and implementing Sandoz High Performance and Great People culture within Hyderabad team.
• Very high flexibility in planning and execution to meet Gx realities in daily operations.
• Strong and experienced in all aspects of Commercial Excellence, ideally having operational Gx experience in Europe.
• Know how beyond traditional Marketing and SFE
• Very good knowledge about decision makers such as Pharmacies, Pharmacy Chains, Wholesalers and Buying Groups and associated value offerings that deliver sustainable results.
• Excellent in Excel / PPT and presentation skills as well as in overall analytics
• Profound Marketing & Sales skills
