NIT Hamirpur invites applications on the prescribed form for contract recruitment of Laboratory Assistants (in various Engineering/ Sciences Department), Pharmacist 8s Driver for a period of one year OR till regular appointments are not made whichever is earlier.
Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form to the Registrar, NIT, Hamirpur (HP) - 177 005 latest by 10th July 2012.

Qualifcation:
Senior Secondary School (10+2) with 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy and Registration from Pharmacy Council.
Salary: Rs. 12500 PM
Age: Up to 30 years with 5 years relaxation for Government employees and SC/ ST candidates.
NOTE:-
1. Mere fulfillment of minimum qualification does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview. A short listing criterion may be set higher than the minimum prescribed. The screening committee shall shortlist the eligible & most desirable candidates to be called for interview from amongst the applicant based on the actual requirement & availability of suitable candidates.
2. The Institute reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any or all the posts advertised and to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualification 85 experience, higher than those prescribed in this advertisement.
3. Submission of Application duly signed on a hard copy is must, however, application sent through electronics media/ e-mail/fax etc within the stipulated time schedule shall also be entertained, subject to receipt of its hard copy subsequently.
4. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates regarding postal delays, conduct of interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection. No request for change of schedule of the interview shall be entertained.
5. Relaxation in age for various reserved categories (SC, ST & OBC) shall be as per Govt, of India norms. Similarly the age limit may be relaxed as per para-8 of the Director's Report, only for contractual staff, if any, in the institution (including project staff) who have rendered five years of technical service and were recruited via prescribed norms of selection, subject to other instructions of Govt, of India, Ministry of HRD at the time of screening/ selection. However they will receive no preference in terms of the qualification and performance vis-a-vis other applicants and they may only be given concession in age limit up to the time spent on project service in comparable or higher positions. In case of long service in projects or other long term contractual positions with comparable job fictions (exceeding 5 years) age concession may be given upto 40 years (45 years for SC/ ST candidates) like that given to internal candidates.

II. Application forms complete in all respects along with attested copies of all documents 85 Summary Sheet should reach the office of the Registrar on or before the last date of receipt of the application. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.
