Vacancy for Senior Project Assistant at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Regional Centre for Biotechnology, is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Post : Senior Project Assistant

Title of Project : Development and evaluation of a circular mRNA vaccine formulation against the Hepatitis C virus.
Duration : Up to 1 year and can be extended depending on performance till the project duration.

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in any field of Biology having good academic record with 60% and above marks will be preferred. (The student having prior experience in handling of RNA, synthesis, gel purification as well as biophysical experimental techniques will be preferred).

Desirable Qualifications : Strong practical and theoretical knowledge in molecular and cell biology etc., experience in operation of equipment for molecular interaction studies using biophysical techniques like CD, SPR, BLI and MST etc. Candidate should be hardworking and team player with interpersonal skills
Upper Age limit : Below 30 Years

Fellowship : Rs. 30,600/- (Consolidated) per month
Principal Investigator : Dr. Ambadas B. Rode, Associate Professor
