Post : Junior Research Fellow for ICMR project
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one (1) Junior Research Fellow to work on a research project sponsored by ICMR, under the supervision of Dr. Abhijeet Joshi, Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.
Title of the project : Novel peripherally restricted sepiapterin reductase (SPR) inhibitors for the treatment of traumatic nerve injury (TNI) associated neuropathic pain
Project position and number : One (01) Project Research Scientist-I (equivalent to JRF)
Fellowship amount : Rs. 56,000 + 30% HRA (as applicable) Rs. 16800 = Rs 72,800/month
Essential eligibility : M.Pharm. (Pharmacology)
Desirable qualifications : - The candidate should have a strong interest in neuroscience, multi-tasking ability and be self-motivated. - Expertise in live rodent surgery, RTPCR, western blot, immunohistochemistry, and basic biochemical assays is a MUST. - Basic experience in chemistry, HPLC, and other analytical tools will be preferred.
