Applications are invited for the said positions under the project entitled “Development of Flavouring and Perfumery Ingredients” under BioNEST, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The candidate will be appointed initially for a period of 1 year or till the tenure of the project, whichever is earlier. However, the post can be extended on the basis of evaluation after completion of the tenure if the project is extended. The post is purely temporary and co- terminus with the project. There shall be no financial liability on the part of the University, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services.
Research Assistant

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc./ M. Tech. in any subject of Life Sciences such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Microbial Biotechnology, Biophysics or any other related area with minimum 6 months of experience in individual project handling, scientific report writing and hands on experience on bioinstrumentation.
Emoluments: - Rs. 20,000/- (fixed) per month
Project Assistant
Number of positions : One
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc./ M. Tech. in any subject of Life Sciences such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Microbial Biotechnology, Biophysics or any other related area. Preference will be given to candidates with 6 months of experience in individual project handling, scientific report writing and hands on experience on bioinstrumentation.
Emoluments : - Rs. 15,000/- (fixed) per month
