Bose Institute was set up in 1917 by Sir JC Bose, the founder of modern science in the Indian subcontinent. It is Asia's first modern research centre devoted to interdisciplinary research and bears a century old tradition of research excellence. Bose Institute is Asia's first modern research centre devoted to interdisciplinary research. Since inception, the Institute has been visited by numerous stalwarts, such as the writer Aldous Huxley (1926), heads of foreign states like King Albert I of Belgium (1925) and President Brezhnev of USSR (1959).
Post : Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow
One (01) position of Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow (Extended) in the DBT sponsored project entitled, “Development of delivery system for miR-325-3p for immunotherapy of cancer” under the guidance of Prof. Gaurisankar Sa, Division of Molecular Medicine. The post is tenable upto 31.07.2020.
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. degree in relevant field of Life Science for RA. Those who have submitted Ph.D. thesis may be considered as SRF(Extended).
Research Experience : Cancer biology and immunology: experience in cell signaling, flow cytometry, cell culture techniques, molecular biology techniques, animal handling etc.
Associateship / Fellowship : Rs. 36,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA for RA and Rs. 28,000/- p.m. plus admissible H.R.A. for SRF(Extended).
Age : Below 35 years for RA and below 33 years for SRF(Extended). (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules)

Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards with attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets and testimonials. The Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates, testimonials and reprints of publications and one page summary of thesis etc. at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
