Post : Senior Research Investigator/Principal Investigator - Immunosciences

Job Purpose: To play a key role in immunology, develop an early-stage research strategy, initiate and lead discovery programs while managing ongoing programs in immunosciences. The role will include managing a team of scientists in immunology, provide subject matter expertise, and work with internal and external collaborators.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities :
Develop and execute on the program strategy, identify new targets and initiate programs, manage a team of scientists involved in both in vitro and in vivo pharmacology, collaborate closely with various program leaders and other functional groups to enable program progression - Provide subject matter expertise in immunology, lead/participate in experimental design and contribute towards both in vitro/in vivo pharmacology and drug discovery. Drive timely compilation of research data, analysis, summary and presentation of experimental results, with insightful scientific interpretations and conclusions. Report project/program progress on a regular basis. Enable publication of research work in international journals. Manage team’s performance by setting clear goals and expectations, motivating and monitoring team activities, and assessing performance against objectives. Develop domain knowledge, scientific expertise, technologies and cutting-edge thinking mindset and team-working abilities, and create a climate to foster scientific innovation and collaboration.

Candidate Profile :
Ph.D in immunology plus 3 to 7 years relevant experience, in the biotech/pharma industry and/or in a similar academic position. Experience and strong expertise in immunosciences is mandatory.
Immunology expertise, strong scientific publications track record, scientific decision-making and problem solving, ability to ask appropriate scientific questions, Effective verbal and written communication skills and presentation skill.
