The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), established in 1983, is an international, intergovernmental organisation conceived as a Centre of excellence for research, training and technology transfer to industry in the field of biotechnology to promote sustainable global development. The Centre conducts innovative research in life sciences and strengthens the research capability of its over 60 Member States through training, funding programs and advisory services. Post : Research Associate
There is one Research Associate position available in the Plant Transcription Regulation group at ICGEB, New Delhi. Interested candidates are requested to appear in the selection interview as per the details given below.
DBT Project : Study of transcriptome and metabolome of Allium tuberosum to understand the metabolic pathways associated with its anticandidal activity.
Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate I in the Plant Transcription Regulation Group, ICGEB, New Delhi. The position is temporary, with an initial tenure of one year, which can be extended to the maximal duration of the project, year on basis, subject to the annual assessment.
Educational qualifications : Ph.D. in any field of Plant Molecular Biology/Life sciences.
Requirements : Experience with transcriptome and metabolome analyses. Experience with plant molecular biology and biochemistry will be useful. Desirable Experience in NGS analysis, chromatography and mass spectrometry.
Emoluments : As per project sanction order (Rs 47000.00 + HRA).
